Our FlexWork@Zurich policy and practice empowers you to work where, when and how you choose. Flexibility within Zurich can be formal or informal in nature and may include changes to location, work schedule or hours. Working remotely (such as from home), flexible hours, part-time hours and job sharing arrangements are all ways we practice flexible working at Zurich.



We’re on a journey to champion greater understanding of mental health and wellbeing, including within our business. MindFIT involves a range of initiatives to encourage you to better manage your mental health and support your colleagues. In addition, wellbeing initiatives such as free flu vaccines, skin cancer checks and fruit boxes encourage you to lead a healthier lifestyle. Our health and wellbeing initiatives are designed around you – to support you and help you be at your best.

Community involvement

At Zurich you’re part of a team that makes a difference to the community. Our key objectives are to positively impact local communities, employee engagement, and to establish long-term programs that also support local business objectives.

Through our global charitable foundation, the Z Zurich Foundation, grants can be applied to support community and environment programs – we are currently supporting several initiatives in Australia, including our hero programs, the Raise Foundation and Beyond Empathy.

You can get involved by volunteering your time, become a mentor for the Raise Foundation, raise money through fundraising events or donate through payroll giving.

Study assistance

We encourage you to pursue further education relevant to your responsibilities – it’s all part of supporting you in your professional development. We’ll give you days off to attend exams or other assessments and financial assistance for formal qualifications if the course is directly related to your role.
