Our 8-week program* offers you the chance to work alongside experienced, approachable leaders and collaborate with our outstanding Technology or Actuarial teams in both General Insurance and Life Insurance.

You’ll receive full support, training, and guidance as you contribute to real projects across the business. You’ll also have the opportunity to deliver a customised project tailored to your development goals.

This paid internship is based at our head office in North Sydney.

  • Applications open: Late August
  • Applications close: Early September
  • Online assessments: Mid to late September
  • Interviews: Early October to late October
  • Offers: Late October to early November
  • Internships commence: December to January

To apply for our internship program, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be in your second-last year of a university undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • Have a strong academic record, with a credit average or above.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident, and currently living in Australia at the time of your application.

Online Assessments & Digital Interview

If your application meets our criteria, you’ll be invited to:

  • Complete a digital video interview: This is your chance to show us your motivation and personality beyond your resume. You’ll answer a series of short, pre-recorded questions using your computer or mobile device’s camera.
  • Complete online assessments:
    • Actuarial Internship: Cognitive assessment
    • Technology Internship: Cognitive and Coding assessment

Face-to-Face Interviews

After reviewing your assessments, we’ll contact successful candidates to arrange face-to-face interviews for the program.
