Zurich Australia completes acquisition of ClearView Wealth Limited

On 20 August 2026, Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited (Zurich) successfully acquired ClearView Wealth Limited (ClearView).

The acquisition followed implementation of a members’ scheme of arrangement under Part 5.1 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) between ClearView and its shareholders. As a result, ownership of ClearView and each of its subsidiaries, including ClearView Life Assurance Limited, a registered life company, has transferred to Zurich.

What does this mean for you?

There is no change to existing Zurich, OnePath or ClearView customer policies, products, claims or services as a result of the completion of the acquisition.

Zurich, OnePath and ClearView will continue to operate as distinct life insurance propositions, with products designed to meet different customer and adviser needs.

The acquisition brings together ClearView’s established life insurance business and advice relationships with Zurich’s global scale, strong capital position, technology and service capability.
