Zurich Australia claims appointment
Zurich Financial Services Australia (Zurich) today announced the appointment of Aaron Molivas to the newly created role of Head of General Insurance Consumer Claims, Australia & New Zealand.
Mr Molivas joins Zurich from Suncorp, where he is currently Head of Transformation, Consumer Insurance, leading a large team dedicated to driving performance across product, digital, customer experience and claims.
In his new role, Mr Molivas will lead Zurich’s general insurance consumer claims strategy and operations, with a focus on strengthening customer experience across its growing personal home and motor insurance portfolio.
Matt Paterson, Chief Claims Officer at Zurich said: “As Zurich continues to scale in Australia, including an increasing presence in the personal lines general insurance market, it is critical we maintain the high calibre claims experience we are known for.”
“Aaron brings a wealth of experience to the role and will provide a fresh perspective to Zurich’s claims team as we advance our market position and offerings,” Mr Paterson said.

Mr Molivas will commence in the role on 29 July 2026.
