Zurich General Insurance Underwriting Appointment
SYDNEY, Australia – Zurich Financial Services Australia (Zurich) announced the appointment of Evan Moore as Head of Property, Marine & Technical Lines for its general insurance business.
Mr Moore currently serves as Head of Personal Lines Underwriting at Zurich in the United Kingdom, where he has end-to-end underwriting responsibility across personal, high net worth and marine craft insurances.
Matthew O’Sullivan, Chief Underwriting Officer, General Insurance, Zurich Australia and New Zealand said: “As a qualified Civil Engineer and with over 11 years’ experience with Zurich across various senior underwriting roles in property and real estate, Evan brings both strong technical and leadership capabilities to the role.”
“Evan will play a key role in driving Zurich’s continued focus on delivering expert solutions for our commercial insurance customers across all segments and we are excited to welcome him to the team,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
Mr Moore will relocate from the United Kingdom to Sydney in the new year and commence his appointment on 13 February 2023.
