Congratulations to our award-winning teams
I’m always amazed at the awesome work our underwriting, claims and rehabilitation teams do year-round. It’s only fitting to see them recognised at the 2021 ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards.
Our OnePath Mental Health Claims Team received the Claims Award and our Rehabilitation Team were awarded the Innovation Team Award for our Cancer Support Program with Valion Health. This recognises the unwavering commitment and the care our teams show in assisting customers, when they most require support.
We’re also thrilled that our Goals for Good initiative has been named ‘Community Initiative of the Year’ at the recent Financial Standard MAX Awards. We’re so proud that the initiative has been recognised for its reach and impact in grassroots sporting communities, while showcasing two of our flagship partnerships with Melbourne Football Club and Tackle Your Feelings, Australia. A huge thank you to Melbourne Football Club’s AFLW and Commercial team and Tackle Your Feelings, Australia for bringing this initiative to life.
Playing our role in the financial industry
We are pleased to update you that Justin Delaney has joined the FSC Board. Justin brings to the Board a wealth of knowledge and experience as CEO of one of Australia’s largest retail insurance business. He is keen to support the FSC as it develops measures to help improve the affordability and accessibility of advice, and to advocate for social, economic and regulatory policies impacting the provision of insurance products and advice. Continuing our partnership with Melbourne Football Club
We’re excited to be extending our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club for a further two years, through to the end of the 2023 season. Zurich has been a principal partner of Melbourne Football Club since 2018 and the sponsorship arrangement broadened in 2020 when Zurich became a major partner of the club’s AFLW team. Partnering with the Dees helps to strengthen Zurich’s reach across many important diversity and community initiatives and provides a platform to engage with our customers, employees and partners, while building our Zurich brand strength around Australia.
Reminder - Unfair Contract Terms
Our PDS updates on 29 March 2021 removed ambiguity and ensure greater transparency in relation to certain terms and definitions for your clients. As we changed some policy terms, we will need instructions for any impacted applications still in suspense after 30 June 2021. Please read the important information addressing this.
