Zurich partners with leading Australian electric truck manufacturer

Zurich Financial Services Australia (Zurich) today announced an innovative new partnership to provide risk engineering and resilience services to leading Australian zero-emissions truck manufacturer, SEA Electric.

Through the partnership, SEA Electric customers will have access to Zurich Resilience Solutions’ (ZRS) team of more than 800 risk engineers for pre-purchase advice, risk assessment services and driver training. Zurich customers and brokers will also be able to access the expertise and experience of SEA Electric as commercial fleets seek to transition to zero emissions.

ZRS provides specialised insights and tools – above and beyond insurance – to help companies across a wide range of industries manage traditional and evolving risks to become more resilient. Services are provided across a number of domains, including: climate change resilience; supply chain risk; and cyber security.

Australian-based SEA Electric specialises in the assembly and full electrification of commercial vehicles. Since launching in 2012, the company has released several models of medium and heavy-duty commercial electric vehicles, globally and locally, ranging from delivery and garbage trucks to school buses, shuttle buses and passenger vans.
