Kristine Brooks is the Head of Retail Distribution for Zurich Life & Investments and the key driver of broadening Zurich's distribution footprint, achieving significant success over the past few years, resulting in Zurich's continuous gain in market share.
In her current role, Kristine is also responsible for implementing and executing sales strategy for Zurich Life & Investments in the Australian Financial Intermediary market, managing retention and lapse rates, achieving sales budget for Retail Risk and Retail Wholesale investments, as well as mentoring the Strategic Accounts and National Sales Teams to achieve the very best outcomes for Zurich and its customers.
Kristine has held a number of senior roles, with significant success since joining the Zurich Life & Investments team in 2005, including Head of Sales, Life & Investments and Regional Manager for NSW and QLD, which she built to become the best performing region for the business.
Previous roles held at Challenger Financial Services Group, Deutsche Financial Planning and at HSBC where she worked in financial planning.
Linda Stangherlin is the National Sales Manager for Zurich’s Investments business in Australia. She joined Zurich’s Australian business in 2014 and has over 18 years of experience working in the finance industry.
Linda's role entails managing research, key accounts and sales functions into the advice industry. Linda manages a team who are responsible for distributing specialist multiple asset class solutions via leading Strategic Investment partners, both domestically and globally.
Linda has held various roles in research, account management and sales leadership for the past 18 years and began her career as a financial adviser. Linda holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma of Financial Planning and has a passion for making a difference to the financial health and wealth of Australians.
Maggie Mills was appointed as Strategic Account Manager for the Investments Business in July 2016. After 10 years with Zurich, where she has held previous positions as Account and Territory manager and Regional manager NSW.
As a Strategic Account Manager, Maggie is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our National Account, Research and Platform partners. Maggie joined Zurich in 2006 as a BDM in the NSW Investment sales team, she went on to become Regional Manager NSW, where she was responsible for running and managing the NSW Sales team and targets. In 2014 was appointed the Account and Territory Manager role and in July 2016 the Strategic Account Manager role. Over Maggie's 10 year tenure with Zurich, Maggie has contributed the strategic direction and success of the Investments business. Maggie has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years and prior to joining Zurich, Maggie has held roles at ING and Skandia. Maggie has completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University.
As a Regional Manager, Bevan is responsible for managing adviser alliances and implementing regional business development strategies in NSW and the ACT. Bevan has over 17 years' experience in the financial services industry both in Australia and London. Prior to joining Zurich Investments in 2016, he held roles at MLC , Russell Investments and Nikko Asset Management . He survived 7 years in London working in BDM / Account Management roles for AMP and Lloyds TSB. He has experience in Practice Management, Strategic Accounts & Asset Management.
Jeff is responsible for managing adviser alliances and implementing regional business development strategies. He has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry, with the last 10 being in the Western Australian market.
Prior to joining Zurich in 2012, Jeff worked for Colonial First State as the State Manager for WA/SA & NT in the Core Equities and Colonial Geared Investments (CGI) business focusing on margin lending. Prior to this he has held roles with Perennial Investment Partners and Colonial First State as an Investment Specialist and Business Development Manager.
As Account & Territory Manager, Ray is responsible for managing adviser alliances and implementing regional business development strategies. Ray has 15 years experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Zurich in 2008, he held roles at Westpac, BT Financial Group and ANZ. Ray has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Banking and Finance from Melbourne University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning through the Securities Institute of Australia.
Luke joined Zurich Investments in 2015 after 12 years with Tyndall Investments. He is responsible for overseeing Zurich’s regional strategy for Queensland, with responsibility for adviser and dealer group relationships.
Luke has 20 years of experience in financial markets. Before moving to Brisbane in 2002, Luke had previously worked for the likes of BT Funds Management and Merrill Lynch in Sydney and London, respectively.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. Luke is married with 3 children and enjoys the relative calm of working in financial markets when compared to the chaos of modern family life.
Patrick joined Zurich in September 2006 and has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry. He is responsible for Zurich’s diversified funds which includes manager selection, asset allocation and chairing the funds’ Tactical Asset Allocation Committee.
As the Senior Investment Strategist for Zurich’s Investment products, he is further responsible for communicating Zurich’s investment management capabilities to the market and provides regular market commentary and investment outlooks through the media. Patrick has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Charles has worked in the financial services industry for over 18 years and joined Zurich Investments in 2015. He is responsible for providing support and investment commentary to financial advisers and investors of Zurich’s managed funds.
Most recently, Charles was an Investment Analyst at Five Oceans Asset Management, covering Asian equities and global telecom stocks. Prior to this, he was a Fund Manager for Pengana Capital’s Asian Equities Fund, with additional responsibility for the Telecom and Technology sectors across Asia including Japan. Charles has also held investment roles at Perennial Investment Partners and Murray Johnstone in Glasgow, covering global equities.
Charles has a Masters in Modern History from St Andrews Univeristy in the UK and is a CFA charterholder.
