Medical & additional expenses Medical and additional expenses incurred by the insured person following injury or sickness occurring during the period of insurance for expenses such as:
  • Medical and specialist inpatient care
  • Medical and specialist outpatient care
  • Maternity expenses
  • Dental expenses
  • Ancillary expenses
  • Emergency transportation expenses


Medical Repatriation and Emergency Evacuation Benefits include reasonable expenses incurred for medical repatriation and emergency evacuation, such as those described below, incurred by an insured person following injury or sickness and incurred during the period of insurance:
  • Airfares (economy where possible) in transporting insured persons to the nearest recommended hospital
  • Airfares in transporting an adult to accompany an insured person under the age of 16 who is being repatriated
  • Pre and post hospitalisation accommodation.
