Premium waiver offer for fire affected customers across areas of NSW and QLD

Zurich recognises the significant impact the current bushfires will have on the livelihoods of customers in areas of NSW and Queensland.

To help ease some of the current financial burden we are offering to waive the life insurance premium for those customers who are affected by the conditions and who are experiencing hardship for 2 months. This offer will remain open until 13 January 2020.

Zurich Life & Investments, Head of Propositions Tim Howell says “the resilience of these Australian communities has been tested before, in recent times through drought, and now these devastating widespread bush and grass fires.

Whilst waiving their life insurance premiums will not bring back what has been lost, we hope it eases some of the financial burden they are facing as the rebuilding begins.”

The premium waiver will apply to Zurich customers with a life insurance policy whose property has been affected by the fires in the impacted areas of NSW and QLD.

We urge financial advisers with clients experiencing hardship, to reach out to the Zurich Customer Care team immediately to arrange the waiver. No application form is required to put the waiver into effect, and it can be arranged over the phone.
