Self Service Terms of Use
In these Self Service Terms of Use, “we', ‘us' and ‘our’ means Zurich Australia Limited ABN 92 000 010 195, AFSL 232 510 (Zurich, OnePath) a company within the Zurich Financial Services Australia Group.
A reference to a 'policy holder' or 'policy owner' is to your client, who has authorised you to undertake the following Request on their behalf.
If you believe that your Adviser Portal USER ID or PASSWORD has been compromised please contact Adviser Services on 1800 500 655 and exit this Request.
By submitting this Request, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- These terms will not exclude, modify or replace any other terms of the policy holder's policy or any other matters such as fees, charges, policy conditions etc.
- I confirm that I have explained the implications of this Request to the policy holder and that they have authorised me to transact on their behalf.
- I confirm that the receipt by me of a message confirming submission of this Request constitutes an irrevocable authority to us to process this Request.
- Zurich is not liable for:
- any delay in processing this Request where Zurich reasonably suspects that this Request is inaccurate, fraudulent, or contains an obvious error, or where Zurich needs to verify or conduct additional checks in connection with this Request;
- communications failure, Internet access difficulties, or malfunction in equipment or software, affecting the Portal or your access to this online facility;
- delay in the operation of this online facility;
- disruption, unavailability, or termination of access to this online facility.
- However, for any liability which cannot be lawfully excluded as it is under the preceding paragraph, Zurich’s liability is limited to:
- in the case of services, resupplying those services or paying the cost of resupplying those services; and
- in the case of goods, repairing or replacing those goods or paying the cost of repairing or replacing those goods.
- I confirm that the policy holder has authorised me (as their financial adviser) to receive and access their personal information for the purpose of managing their policy.
- I confirm that I will indemnify Zurich from and against any loss or damage suffered or incurred by Zurich (consequential or otherwise) in connection with my failure to obtain the policy holder’s consent to submit this Request.
