Changes from August 2017
On 19 August 2017 Zurich took another step in its investment in Marine when we began phasing out a back-office system used for Marine policies.
Once this transition is complete, brokers’ transactions will appear on their standard Zurich account. Marine-specific accounts will be phased out.
New Marine policy numbers will be progressively introduced.
Transition steps in Z.stream
When initiating new Marine business in Z.stream, please select the account that you use for your other Zurich lines of business.
When you come to renew a Zurich Marine policy, you will need to import the renewal. Simply:
- Go to the imports queue in Ebix Sunrise Exchange.
- Retrieve your Marine Z.stream renewals in the imports queue.
What doesn’t change?
This change is specific to our Marine policies.
It does not involve any changes to Z.stream.
It does not affect your policy coverage, how you lodge claims, claims in progress, or your usual contacts with Zurich.
