Death and Terminal Illness Claims - Since extending our Terminal Illness duration from 12 to 24 months on 15 May 2017, Zurich has seen an increase in death cover claims, assisting more Australians to get early access to their life insurance benefit.

Trauma and Health Event Claims  - Keeping our trauma definitions updated remains our key focus, and recent enhancements has ensured our ability to pay claims remain linked to modern  medical  advances and assessments. Zurich Active (our unique, severity based life insurance solution) covers 168 health events – more than any other trauma insurance in Australia. Plus, your clients can keep claiming on any remaining cover if life deals further setbacks.

TPD Claims - Zurich is uniquely placed in the Australian market, extending the assessment of TPD claims beyond an individuals ability to work. Under the extended ADLs, often a single medical report measuring functional impairment will provide the information required for a claim to be paid, without the need to apply any work or employment-based testing.

Income Protection Claims - The continuation of someone’s income when sick or injured is one of the most critical forms of protection available and with further strengthening to our Income Protector range in 2017, including the ability for Agreed Value policies to always pay at least what would be paid under Indemnity cover, Zurich continues to provide key wealth protection solutions for those unable to work.
