Ushering in a new era of life insurance
Welcome to the latest edition of Zurich Adviser News. It has been inspiring to witness the resilience of our adviser partners during these unusual and challenging times and I want to thank you all for the commitment and support you have shown to your customers and the community during this period. Things are finally looking up and there is light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel, there is a real feeling of optimism returning which is so nice to see.
At Zurich we believe that preventative health measures and the national COVID vaccine program is an essential part of the roadmap towards ensuring a safe and healthy community. We’ve proudly joined forces with other life insurers in an initiative to provide confidence and peace of mind around COVID-19 vaccinations and that even once vaccinated, their life insurance products will continue to protect and cover them as they have always done. October has seen the introduction of a number of product and legislative changes. It has been a busy period and a lot to absorb for you our advice partners. All the important information you need on the new design and distribution obligations and changes to duty of disclosure statements is available on our Zurich Change Navigator Hub.
The most significant change to our offering is the launch of our new income protection product Zurich Income Safeguard which is now on sale. We feel confident that our new solution is better suited to an evolving world, better aligned to community expectations and will deliver good value and certainty to your customers.

While COVID-19 has meant our lives have had to be different this year, some of the silver linings of lockdown include making more time for exercise, starting a new hobby, or picking up old ones. It is important to keep these good practices going as we start to head into holiday season.
