From 29 March 2021, Zurich and OnePath Life Product Disclosure Statements will be distributed electronically only.
Globally, being a responsible and sustainable company is core to our values. We help our customers and communities become more resilient to natural disasters and extreme weather; we make a difference through our responsible investment approach; and we are swiftly reducing our own carbon footprint. We are working closely with communities and policymakers to place more emphasis on risk reduction, preparedness, and resilience rather than purely focusing on recovery and rebuilding.
Locally, we have recently seen the cause and effects of severe weather events, through devastating fires and floods which have lasting impacts on us all. That is why we are accelerating action to reduce climate risks by implementing changes that can help drive towards our global climate commitment. For us, it’s simply the right thing to do.
As part of our internal review, we identified an opportunity to reduce our print wastage by moving to electronic distribution of our Product Disclosure Statements across both our Zurich and OnePath product suites from 29 March 2021.
