Zurich Investments Global Growth Share Fund
The Zurich Investments Global Growth Share Fund is an international share fund which uses a distinctive growth oriented investment strategy designed for long-term investors who want to capitalise on the unique opportunities presented by fast-growing companies around the world.
Fund objectives
The fund aims to:
- provide investors with long-term capital growth
- outperform the MSCI World (ex-Australia) Accumulation Index (in A$) by 2% to 3% p.a. over rolling three to five-year periods
- provide global diversification.
Investment strategy
The Fund seeks to identify stocks that outperform as earnings growth accelerates. This growth process is differentiated in that it does not focus on absolute levels of growth at a stock level. Instead it focuses on the direction of that growth to ensure that it is accelerating as well as sustainable.
In addition, it employs an active currency management strategy whereby up to 40% of the Fund’s exposure to international currency can be hedged back to Australian dollars.
