Zurich plans to cease offering CTP Green Slips in NSW from 1 March 2016
POLICIES
No impact on existing CTP policies
All existing CTP policies will remain valid and in force until their expiry dates.
CTP policies that expire before 1 March 2016
If you hold a CTP policy that expires before 1 March 2016 you can renew the policy and remain insured with Zurich until the policy expires. Alternatively, you can choose another insurer.
CTP policies that expire on or after 1 March 2016
If your CTP policy expires on or after 1 March 2016, Zurich will separately notify you shortly before your policy expires that we will not be offering you the option to renew your CTP policy with us. You will need to change to another insurer for your future CTP policy.
We advise customers to speak to their insurance broker to assist them with their future CTP policy needs. If customers do not have an insurance broker they can access the Green Slip calculator at www.greenslips.nsw.gov.au for vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass.
CLAIMS
No impact on CTP claims management
We will ensure all claims are managed in the normal process.
Zurich will be maintaining staffing levels to support CTP claimants.
